something odd.

I called game crazy and EB today and gamecrazy said it would be instock by 4:00pm today, and EB said they had it in stock now.

Something is simply wrong here. I read similar posts on the ign boards, this is odd. I think perhaps these store clerks are confused.

They must be thinking of another game. If it were being released today, they'd have issues the standard "Now Shipping" press release.

It seems like everytime I call GameStop and ask if a certain game is in, it goes like this:

Clerk: &lt;at a millions miles per hour&gt; "....tnanksforcallingGameStopthisissoandsohowcanih elpyou?.."

Me: Do you have MVP 2004 for XBox in?

Clerk: Just a second.

Clerk: Was that Motorcross?

Me: Nope, I asked about MVP 2004.

Clerk: is that a sports game?

Me: yes, Major League Baseball.

Clerk: we haven't gotten in anything for Play Station 2

Me: I asked about the game for XBox

Clerk: let me check the system

Clerk: that game isn't in yet, it will be in on such and such date

Me: okay, thanks &lt;i hang up&gt;

Me: idiots. I'm never going to GameStop again.

&lt;on scheduled date of arrival for the game&gt;

Me: hi, is MVP 2004 for XBox in yet?

Clerk: yeap, it sure is

Me: can you save one for me, I'll be there in 15 minutes

Clerk: sure

Me: okay, thanks man

&lt;15 minutes later I am there and buying the game&gt;

Me: thanks guys!!!
