I've bought and returned MVP due to many things I disliked. But, the slider's just as in every game don't work. I thought that there were to many hits happening from inning to inning. So I moved the contact/power slider for the CPU to -10. I wanted a few less hits but I didn't want to dominate the computer so I moved the sliders gradually. Well after a few more attempts at what seemed to be no change in gameplay, I had the slider's set at contact/power -50. Guess what, no change even at minus 50 they were still whacking the ball all over the field. So much for "slider's"!

You're kidding, right?
It's one thing to claim the steal rate slider has no effect on the game (b/c it doesn't

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">Listen here, I know what I know because I had ample time to play with the slider's to see if there was a difference and there wasn't! IMO, I saw no major difference. Who's to say that "your" scientific research and or studies hold any merit? I don't think your data holds any "Cred"! When the games got a guy with 20 to 30 contact and maybe 30 to 35 power he shouldn't be roping the ball down the lines and hitting for power in the gaps! It just doesn't happen? Not 3 or 4 times by the same batter during the same game. These players have not done this in "real life" baseball, but on EA they are "WEE Willie Keeler".
