So what do you guy's think? I think he mentioned Alot of positive things,rather than negatives.Also said that it didn't get any worse.

Yes, this is one of the more upbeat reviews of ESPN 2K4 that I've read. It encouraged me to believe that it certainly isn't any *worse* than 2K3 and even seemed to contradict some of the things Hilary wrote in the IGN review (e.g. I think Hilary claimed that the graphics took a step backwards in 2K4, but the TeamXBox reviewer said differently). All in all, I'm more convinced it's worth the $40 they want for the game, even it it's not the Holy Grail of baseball gaming.

I dont mind TeamXbox's review(not that i buy my games based on reviews). Like most reviews mention is that they were expecting new things from VC from the great work of last years game. That's everyones major beef. Compared to MVP, and MLB(989) major overhaul of the last year to this year.

I guess it's good to try to fix the mistakes from last year. In another way though it doesnt seem like SEGA/VC's work. Knowing how VC likes to innovate with new gameplay features and mechanics, this years 2k4 games seemed unimproved(NBA 2k4 mostly). Hopefully for the 2k5 all the VC games get a more dedication of catoring to their solid standard of getting the core of the game done before adding all the goodies. I actually just rented last years game and played WSB 2k3 randomly since it wasnt online. Most of my focus is for online play. Offline attention only goes to certain sports games(even though i played 100+ games of WSB for Xbox ).

Cant wait till tomorrow to play online. Meanwhile...

I'm praying that Microsoft will buy VC and Blue Shift,with there brains behind making realistic sim sports,and the money Microsoft has to throw around.(watch out EA)
