Cardinal roster..need help with re-naming of the fake players

I think the 1B Gallardo might be Steve Cox, and maybe the OF Dawton is Ray Lankford? I didn't have much time to mess around with it. I was anxious to get playing last night, so I didn't do as much research as I'd like to have. I did do some trades for OF Cedeno and RP Lincoln which were easy to pull off.

I'm going to restart my franchise tonight and do it up right. If you're still interested then, I'll post what I did.

Unforunately, I think we have been misled on a lot of these names. Some of these guys aren't even close to an actual Cardinal in height, weight, and age. Although the fake catcher does match up real well with Cody McKay...especially the 40 rating.

I changed the Lawton guy to Lankford. Lankford is 5'11' 200. Changed his potential to a D. Lankford's age is 36.

Changed the Gallardo guy to John Gall and moved him to the inactive roster. If you pick up Lincoln off of the free agent list, most of the pitchers are ok for the major league roster. I have no idea who the fake pitchers would be.

Not sure where Sega's roster update is, but in the IGN review they said it would be online the day the game came out. I'd bet their update is going to be better than any custom job we could do.

On another note...if you change the fake players names, the announcers and PA guy still call him by the fake name.

Post here if you find out who any of the pitchers could be.

I'd definitely be interested in hearing back concerning your adjustments. Players such as Delgado and Widger need to be traded obviously. Same with Kerry Robinson. Haren isn't on the MLB roster but he is on the ESPN roster I believe. Womack is an integral part of the team. Luna needs to either be created or renamed. That'd be great if Lawton was Lankford. I'll have to check that out. Those are just a few things I noticed right away. Hoping there will be an AR update shortly with current rosters. Not holding my breath though.

So, I'm wondering if it'll be possible for someone who downloads the rosters off of XBL to convert them to an AR save........
