    Confidence meter on or off

Do you guys keep the meter on or off? I just got the game yesterday evening and only played 2 games. I know in the 9th inning I was pitching (Diamondbacks) against Mike Piazza who had a full confidence meter and he promptly hit a ball which still hasn't landed yet. Have you guys really noticed players doing better when thier confidence is higher? I just haven't played enough games to really give an opinion on this.

Yeah, my pitcher got a few hits, and before I knew it he was down to the negative side. Next thing I know, long ball.

In other cases, I've noticed my pitchers not hitting the spots, and being wild by hitting a batter. I haven't really seen my hitters do anything when they get on the plus side.
