connection.. every game I play has alot of lag and im pretty sure its on my end since everyone else is playing smooth games. Im using comcast cable here in savannah GA.. I really want to play this game online but so far its pretty unplayable.

Are you sharing your connection with a computer? Is that person using the internet? Concurrent use of your internet connection will slow you down...possibly a LOT.
What is your advertised cable speed? How many mbps down? how many kbps up? (do you know?)
Test your xbox live connection from your dashboard. Press "Y" after it's done and look for some number followed by "(ms)" or something like that. That's your ping time. It should be, at worst, 100 imho. The smaller the number the better. Also look for "20/20". If it's not 20/20 that means you're losing packets and that's a problem that your cable company should look into.
Are you tied in to the internet through a hub or a router or are you directly hooked into the internet? Some hubs/routers can be ****ty when it comes to latency (especially old, cheap hubs).
I'll post other thoughts as I have them. Let me know how it goes. I'm having good success with non-laggy games, so I consider myself fortunate. Good luck. (If you already knew all this then I mean no offense...I just didn't know how much you know about networking and computers, etc)

comcast is 1.5mb down or if upgraded free, 3mb down. but they are advertising now all over for 3mb so i am guessing his si 3mb down 256k up. i have heard from someone on this board the internet lag is bad for them too with this game. so hmm.Comment

do you have cable or dsl? I have dsl, and recently they just bumped my bandwidth up a considerable margin for FREE. You may just have a crappy ISP...might want to check and see what other Broadband ISP's are available in your area.Comment
