Re: Should I open up my copy of ESPN baseball

the graphic glitch is not only in 720p, it is in the game anytime, i have seen it where the game will be moving like in the crowd from a ball hit or something and you'll see the line across the screen barely, like a mess up. not sure how to explain it.

fieldiing running speed? outfield speed sliders? not needed. why? the guy runs as fast as he does in the outfield same as on base. in real life people don't have different speed ratings for running the bases or in the outfield. it is impossible for a human to have legs for one and different legs for the other. so why in the world have it seperate? the guy runs as fast as he does plain and simple, not oh, i run 5 for outfield, but 3 or 10 on the bases. it's the same thing. you can't expect a guy to run sp fast on baseas and infield and different for outfield, bases and infield jeese.

I agree...go ahead and play it! They have fixed a ton of stuff from last year and it is a really solid game. I'm still getting used to True Aim hitting (which is what it seems like most people are playing with on Live) as I really liked the cursor. However, I do think it's a bit harder and a challenge is always good!

Thanks Guys, I really appreciate the info. I did take the advice, and after 3 games I'm loving it! Games only take about 20-30 minutes to play, that is cool! I really like how they dive with the right trigger, It seems a lot easier than the other games. I was also pleased that I could adjust the number of games in a season/career and it has in game saves! I'm playing on a HD 50" widescreen in 720p mode and it looks incredible and still plays great! I tried the same setup with MVP, but it had too much lag. It seemed like the frame rate slowed way down so I had to turn off the 720p mode and play it in 480p mode.

Well I'm going to crack open a cool one and play baseball. Once again, thanks guys. By the way, I made a diving stop with my shortstop and gunned the runner from my knees, it was so fluent....I yelled "Hell Yeah"!

Wow... You are hard to please, lol. I haven't played ESPN yet, will be picking it up at some point i'm sure, but ASB2005 is the best baseball game I have played yet. But unfortunately the mandatory online fielding cam will probably be the deciding factor against the great asb game, although I think the game is still alot of fun playing with the cam.
