I agree, I like a quick pace as well. I think all games should have the genrated count option like ASB does.

I could never use generated counts. I want to have the feeling that I was able to setup the hitter and fool the hitter by my sequence of pitches. I don't want a batter to get up to the plate with a 1-2 count and all I have to do is throw one strike to K him.

Yeah, I can see that, and I would never suggest generated counts as a default. But it is a nice option to have. 162 games is a lot to play, and this is one way to shorten things up and do less simming. I can see how it would not be for those who really enjoy the pitcher batter duel.
