Re: Completed an ESPN XBOX roster

O.K., it's midnight {PST} and it's done. Here's basically what you get. First I made all the roster moves.

I created DeWayne Wise, Luis Lopez, Matt Perisho, Jose Castillo, Luis Gonzalez, Bobby (I stink) M. Jones, Simon Pond, Mike Jackson, Chris Shelton, Shawn Camp, Lou Merloni, Jeff Bennett, Mike Johnston, Casey Daigle, Tom Martin, Jose Bautista, Cody McKay, Cory Lidle, Brian Daubach, Damian Miller, Frank Menechino, Akinori Otsuka, Shane Spencer, Shingo Tatasku, Brenden Donnelly, Frank Castillo, etc.

I took a ton of players who were on FA and assigned them to their teams. I created many minor league players and replaced the fake names.

I'll get the ACTION REPLAY out in the morning and try to transfer it.

NOTE: This was a son-of-a-gun to do. It's a grand start. Anyone who complains that I didn't get so and sos batting stance right.....Change it. If I didn't get a windup right....Change it. If you don't like a minor league players rating......you got it...change it. I looked up all their heights/weights and ages, whether they are lefties, etc. I did some ratings changes. Look at them and edit them all you want before you start your franchise/season. I didn't fool with any of the players who were already in the game.

If anyone wants to pick up where I left off and make this even better, please do so. It will make the game just that much better.

Each team has a wealth of fielders and pitchers. Some pitching staffs are at the 22 maximum limit. There were a lot of FA who should have been on teams minor leagues.

Note: A couple times I looked back at the rosters and some unknown scrub was on a team. I don't know how he got there, must be a problem in the edit/save function. I released him and he wound up on ANOTHER team. I'll make sure tomorrow a.m. that it all looks accurate. If you do see a fake player....release him.

If I didn't create a player, go to the FA pool and create him. Or go to CREATE A PLAYER. I believe I only used this for two players, Bonds and someone else, so there's lots of slots left.

      Enjoy.

Of note. This game appears to need 5 starting pitchers and prompted me to adjust the roster before I saved. Therefore, there maybe a starting pitcher on the ML roster that is actually in the minors.

I know when you start your season (if you are GM for all teams) you can adjust the starting rotation for each team and put in the proper starter.

Re: Completed an ESPN XBOX roster

If one of your team rosters is not valid and you let the CPU fix it, they will sign a player from the FA pool to fill the vacant spot so you have to validate all of the rosters yourself if you don't want FA players to appear on teams.

Perhaps that happened. I'm awake on the west coast and will be trying to get this out in the next hour.
