    About The Slider Discussions Thread...

You notice how slient it's become? You know why? Because this game plays so good out of the box, there isn't a whole lot of tweaking you need to do. And the little adjustments you feel you need can be done easily. I really got sick of following thousands of posts of different sliders with each professing to portray a realistic experience. ESPN got this right.

I agree, for once we get a game that we don't have to practically reprogram ourselves. I remember when I had Madden 2 years ago, by the time I thought I had some good sliders, the football season was over.

My main beef right now is that I hit too well with medium pitch speed. Mostly because when the CPU pitcher throws a ball it is really obvious, I've lowered my power and now I'm trying to get the right set of AI pitching sliders that will make the game just a bit harder. This is in no way a "problem" with the game though.

Best baseball game in quite some time.
