What does that have to do with when OS puts out it's ESPN review. Do you have ESPN baseball?

It has everything to do when OPSports and the eventual release of their review.

I'm suggesting maybe why they are taking so long putting it out, is because they are actually putting in hours into the game to see if there are any flaws. Unlike their MVP reviews (they are not the only guilty parties) they had a review out right away, not mentioning the broken player progression in Dynasty mode, the lack of steals, the choppy framerates (pc) Questionable AI, and so on.

So what I was suggesting was that maybe they are taking their time so that they could give out a thorough review that tells the readers what is good and bad about the game.

It actually has nothing to do with the OS ESPN review. They are being done by completely different people. I am not going to this again in detail as there are already several threads on it, but those who no nothing about the review process should keep their theories to themselves as they are generally no where near accurate.

2. the reviewer of MVP got a very extended time period to play the game in its final release before it hit the shelves. so it is possible they're taking the same time to review both games but just got one later.

If he/she spent a consderable amount of time playing the game include dynasty mode, he would have noticed the problems the game had. It's that obvious. It's rediculous that every flaw was practically ignored. It took the forum members to address the issue. I just feel sorry for console people. (I own a PC and a console, but wanted to Play Online too) If they would have know about all the flaws, they could have been warned.


I've been a member here since before ESPN NFL, back then the forums were generally good. But since then you have mods attacking people, locking/deleting threads for no reason. It's rediculous. I guess it's true what others say about this site.

I like coming here, I found many fixes to MVP because of this site, I learned better techniques in ESPN. I just wish it was more of a friendly place to be.

OS puts out a review, and the User's bash it.

OS doesn't put out a review, and the Users complain.

If I had any say at OS (which I don't aside from being a regular on the boards) I'd make sure they DON'T put out a review. If you want to form a judgement of a game:

1. Rent.
2. Read other's impressions; There are impression threads in every forum
3. Read the boards
4. Don't rely solely on OS to decide for you.

I don't know when so many gamers all of a sudden became critics of this site. I (and I'm sure many others agree) come to this site for all the pre-release information and for the boards. THAT'S how I decide whether I want to purchase a game, NOT by one reviewer's opinion. That's what a review is: AN OPINION.

When others can get that through their thick skulls and not rely on ONE man's take on a game, then maybe these boards will get back to the shape they were.
