I need some help, what teams are you guys using? I dont want to be a sweet team but not a crappy team either. I was thinking the Reds or the Blue Jays.

Reds would be FUN!!!! Plus you play in some cool ballparks in that division. In fact, collectively I think the NL Central has the best ballparks in baseball (other than the AL EAST)
First off I would dump Larkin and his payroll for a young SS.
Perhaps I would also get rid of EITHER Kearns or Dunn for some pitching. Perhaps offer one of them to the Dodgers for Edwin Jackson and Thurston or something like that. Move Jiminez to SS and play Thurston at second.
Blue Jays might be fun but they are already pretty good and you are in a loaded division.
Trading is a blast because you can sort the players by Budget Points so i start with all the 0 BP players on top and look down so I can find a guy that has a rating in the 70's with a BP of 2 or something like that. -

actually i didn't know if the astros have a good lineup or not, i know they have some good players
why not look up the standings from last year on MLB.COM and pick a team that came in last in their division last year, or next to lastComment

Im still tweaking before I start a franchise but Im going with the Royals. Have been playing some good games with them in exibition. Good hitting. Poor pitching. And they play like it. Should be fun.Comment
