    Fixed a Bug...Sort Of

I know that someone mentioned something about not being able to see messages from the owner when you sim a game with the box score shown after. Well you also are not getting any messages from your scout either, thus denying any chance to sign foreign prospects.

If you are like me and have sort of been playing a game or two out of every series or maybe skipping a three game series and simming it one game at a time so you can see the boxscores, you will be missing all of these popup messages also. (When I sim games I do them one at a time because the depth charts don't work either, forcing me to check the fatigue of my players every few games by starting a gamecast game and making sure everything is cool, plus I like to see the box score)

So basically, even if you are going to sim just one game to get to the next, you may want to have it sim WITHOUT the box score, or you could miss something important.

So, the depth charts do not work meaning no subs occur according to your depth chart? I do not have the game b/c Im a ps2 user and this is interesting to know, also does the cpu sub players accordingly in simmed games? Please answer.

"So, the depth charts do not work meaning no subs occur according to your depth chart?"

Correct. As for the CPU teams, I have yet to test that but I will. This doesn't mean they won't work on the PS2 version, they may already be aware of this.

So have you guys tried to turn the percentage to something absurd like a 95% sub in rate? I just started my franchise so I haven't seen anyone tired (aside from my starting pitchers).

Yes, I have. Well, I turned it to 50% because that's the max and my lineups never change. If I want good results, I have to sim games one by one using gamecast changing the lineup if a player is tired.

I have found a work around for this bug, i.e. the disappearing comments from your owner and scouts. After running a gamecast, you will come to schedule screen. When you have a message to view, you will be unable to move the red brackets on the schedule screen to the next game. You may not be able to view the owners messages. However, more importantly, you'll be able to try to sign foreign players found by your scout. When you get the locked red brackets, simply move the L-Stick down one time, as if you are moving from No to Yes when asked "Do you want to sign this player?" You will not see the message. Yet, after moving down once and hitting the A button, you just might get lucky. If the foreign player agrees to sign with you, you will be able to sign the player by doing this. If the player says no, the screen will flash by and you are free to move onto the next game. Try it a few times. It just may be a workaround to this problem and it will allow you to still use gamecast in the season and obtain foreign players.
