I was the Yanks playing the Royals. Contreras was starting to get abused in the 5th or 6th inning. So, I tried to throw a pitch inside on a guy, and I hit the batter. Next guy up, I try again to throw it inside, and I hit him too.
So, at the bottom of the inning I'm up at bat and the pitcher pegs me in the ***. How cool is that? They show a cut scene of my guy taking the base pointing at the pitcher. Half way to the base he charges the mound, but the cut scene immediately ends and it just goes right to behind the batter view with the next guy at the plate. John Miller then said that the new pitcher needed to get in a few warm up pitches, so I assume that the starting Royals pitcher was ejected.
Has anyone ever seen this before? If so, do they always cut away as soon as the batter charges the mound? My player literally took two steps toward the pitcher and the cut scene ended. I was kind of pissed, but it was pretty cool at the same time.
