Created Players In GM Mode?

I know in WSB 2K3 you could bring created players into the franchise mode. However, I heard that you can not bring created players into GM Mode and that the rosters are set to default no matter what. Is this true? I normally like putting myself into the game, because I know that I can do things in the game that i cant in real life, such as being the Red Sox starting 1st baseman with david ortiz as permanant DH. I would like to play GM Mode and would still play regardless of me being in it, however, i would like it more if i could play as myself. Thanks in advance.

created players can be brought in the GM mode!! you also have the option to create a player in the actual GM mode itself (i think). but yes you can be the red sox first baseman if you like in the GM mode.

You just can't edit rosters while IN GM Mode. You can edit them as much as you want before you start a franchise in GM Mode.

Awesome... i must have mis heard the "cant edit payers in GM Mode" as "cant have anything edited in GM Mode" IE created players.
