Oh well. I traded in my PS2 for an X-box last week. Not trying to be mean, but it was time for a change and Sony dropped the ball. Big time.

I haven't been keeping up with ESPN baseball but why would a delay in a Sega game be a result of Sony dropping the ball?

Because it isn't Sega's fault. Sega gave the game to Sony, which hasn't approved it of yet (well, they just have, since it's official it's coming out on the 4th). So... this would appear to be on Sony's shoulders.
