Because I'm hooked , I think I am coming close to having the Epileptic seizures the manuel warns you about. Playing 7 to 8 games on it day of a 162 game schedule.(First set this game to Dolby surround on your xbox , mine was on plain Stero and you could barely hear the announcer or any sound effects Just do it !!!!! speakers or not, I just have a plain Magnavox 32 inch .
But seriously this game has a lot but the gameplay and AI is what make it for the hardcore baseballers. I tried a suciede squeeze and the pitcher actually threw home even though there was no chance and the game would be over, he threw it wild and hard his only chance unreal !! because I raised the go after lead runner slider a few notches. Whatever reviewers said the Confidence ratings were a Gimmiac were full of it ! It's really hard to hit a good or a reat pitcher(in the Zone, high confidence ) and when you have a pitchers # they pitch around you or Int walk you if you are really hot(you notice this only after playing a lot and it's always different ), if you are a NL Team and have runners on base and a bad hitting pitcher is coming up they will walk the #8 batter to get to your pitcher(this games alive ) .This game continues to amaze me each game and with the great sliders everything is adjustable. Confidence ratings also helps when your batting and fielding.(unreal) This option is highly underrated. Shame on all the reviewers who didnt take the time to really play this Classic game. (EX) Bost Reese made a error and later had a long count and finally hit a 2 run double and he than made a game saving dive because his confidence was up again and it's hardly noticable but its there and it works !
I feel sorry for you PS2 guys so if you have any questions on heckles of your favorite players or stadium celebrations Just ask me and I'll tell you ASAP.
