I don't have a problem getting extra base hits. You just have to manually control the baserunners. The problem is the CPU isn't aggressive and I've given up only a few doubles ever. I'm going to have to turn up their baserunning aggressiveness to the max to see if it makes a difference.

Yeah I am not too concerned about my extra base hits, I think that will come in time. I am concerned about the computer not getting any doubles or triples.

My last game i gave up 10 hits (9 singles and 1 HR). This does worry me a bit because the only way the computer scores on me is with homeruns. I have yet to see the computer put a rally together. It would be nice to see a single, single, double, double, single. That would be nice to see.

So far this is the only issue I have with the game, but it is becoming a pretty large issue for me at least.

So I know that there have been a lot of positive things about this game and I never drop the gamekiller bomb, but this issue could be that for me. Hopefully there is something that will fix it, there probably is.

Maybe the outfielders are too fast.

Good point. I'm seeing this, but not as bad as you seem to be. I've given up some 2B's here and there. HR's are abundant though with the CPU. I cranked down the CPU Contact/Skill/Power to 38 last night and Human Power to 40. The game was 0-0 in the 8th before I had to get some sleep so I saved it there. Hopefully just messing with these sliders will sort this out somehow....

2. Disable the turbo button( if you haven't already)

3. You may not want to do this but edit the speed of the players or increase the baserunning speed slider(This will not help the CPU but editing the player speed will.) Many of the default player speeds are way too low.

4. I haven't tried this one myself but if you lower the CPU outfielder agressiveness slider it is supposed to make the CPU take less agressive angles to the ball thus increasing the chance for extra basehits.

5. Use the cursor- In the past I hated cursor batting but I have found my hits totals and variety to be much better than with true aim.
