    Drag bunt

I have tried countless times to drag bunt (hitting the bunt button after the ball is pitched with no luck. I have also tried to take on a bunt attempt (removing the bunt button before the ball gets there) and I get called for a strike everytime. Do I just stink or has anyone had success at this?

I haven't had any problems bunting. However, with true aim, you still have to aim correctly to make contact.

Well, I'm the guy to talk to about drag bunts because I almost thought they were not possible. However, I am happy to say they are possible and they are very hard to pull off for a variety of reasons.

The previous poster is right, you do have to employ the true aim system so bunting is very hard. What I do with Furcal (Braves) is hold my directional in one place, usually down and in. Then I wait until the pitcher throws in that zone. If he does I tap 'y' at the last minute and the direction is already done for me. If the pitch is not exactly where my aiming stick is already aimed, I let the pitch go. This works great. Keep in mind that the CPU pitcher knows whats going on too and especially in the case of a sacrifice (where you square early) he will not make it easy to lay it down.

On sacrifices, you can pull the bat back but you have to do it early.
