    Does anyone use the Reds?

If so, how is Griffey? I haven't bought a baseball game in quite some time, and even though Griffey has had a few bad injury ridden years, but he is still my favorite. I am trying to figure out which game I want to get, and the graphics look pretty good.

His ratings are good, and he hits very well and still has most of his speed! On the bad end, he is VERY prone to injury Overall, the Reds are decent, and this game is so tweakable, the Reds can contend even with the right sliders!

The Reds are contending in real life and will be special if they ever develop a few starting pitchers. Wagner needs to be starting IMO.

You're a fellow Wildcat fan, but I have to correct you on this one. Wagner a starter? Have you seen his era lately? What he needs is a AAA reassignment to get his confidence back. As far as starting, he will never be a starter. Even in college he was a closer.

I agree, Wagner has been horrible lately, his ERA is 11.25 He had one good week and has been tapped every time out since then! Here are some other eye popping stats, 8IP, 20 hits, 12Runs! If he was a starter, that could be the line for 1 start!!!!!!!!!

To be a successful starter, you need a wide assortment of pitches. Wagner has what, three pitches to arsenal at most? I'm not sure if he has a changeup, but I think that Marty (should tell you that I'm a Reds fan) said that Wagner has no control over the velocity of his pitches, meaning his changeup is in affective. At this point he would never make it as a starter, even in the minor leagues. He needs to expand his pitching arsenal, then work on his control. Velocity isn't everything.
