is there assisted fielding like in mvp where i can only throw, or do i have to do all the fielding.

There's Smart Fielding, where when the ball is hit, you can move the stick any way, and your fielder will start moving the correct way to the ball. You first have to move it one way, though. They also have it for Smart Throwing... just press a face button, and they will throw it to the logical base.
