Okay, I found this out by mistake, but it looks like you may be able to see that home run better with this little glitch.
Hit a home run or a foul ball out of play, as long as it goes over a fence at one time or another (so, if you hit a home run at Bank One Ballpark in center field off of the scoreboard, or if you hit one of those foul balls that cut away before it goes out of play, it will do no good). All you have to do is then go to Replay, LOCK ONTO THE BALL, and then press X (Square for PS2 users) so that you are in Cinema mode (how you actually saw the replay). Continue the replay until the ball finally goes over that fence that you hit it over, then press X/Square again. You will no longer see your little yellow locking cursor, because it is under the fans on the other side of the wall. Now you have a little bit of control on that side, and can move freely.
There are a little mishaves with this, and you'll know what I mean when it happens (not talking about the game crashing or freezing or anything, just about you accidently going back onto the field side of the wall), but it's pretty cool.
If you understand what I said, try it out.
