The Cut-off Issue im having

Whenever there is a close play at any base and im throwing the ball from the outfield, the cut-off man always cuts it off. If im just throwing it in on a base hit with no play he wont cut it off but whenever the play is close he ALWAYS cuts it off. ANy help would be appreciated. PS2 version BTW.

I know on the XBox version, if you just tap the throw button, the ball goes through, but you can still cut it off by hitting the triggers.

make sure u always tap throw button in OF ... if u get xited u may tend to hold it down which will do a cut/throw through ps2 ver.

Yeah, sounds like you're just holding down the button too long when throwing....I've done it before.

If you're like me and played MVP for awhile before getting annoyed with the lefty, stealing and progression bugs, you will be hitting the cutoff alot because I am still used to holding the button down for more power (a feature from MVP that I actually love and wish was in ESPN)

If you use the turbo feature, that'll allow for more power on a throw.
