pretty big prob w/ double switches (i think)

    play in NL...

    pinch hit for my pitcher...

after inning was over...i put in new pitcher ..then clicked double switch....all works well however they MAKE u replace the guy who is now in the pitchers spot....could not figure out how to keep your pinch hitter in the game playing the position of the player who u just took out for pitcher.

(basically i cannot figure out how to shift positions during a game. ie; if ure mets and u decide u wann aput piazza at first in fifth inning..dont think u can)

    thx

double switches work fine if you sub both players at the same time. You cannot pinch hit for someone and then have him stay in the game to play a position unless of course you're pinch hitting for a positon player with a player that plays the same position.

The best way to do a double switch without wasting anyone is to do it before you take the field in that inning.

This has always been the case and I don't know of any baseball game that will let you do a double switch the way you're trying to.
No, I didn't draft Grossman on my fantasy team, what do you think I am an idiot?

You are wrong. Last year when asked to chose the new fielder you could hit Square to go back into the lineup and select the player who was in the pitchers spot. This is a huge problem for me. Makes you waste a lot of players in NL ball.

works fine for me and I never waste any players. I just don't do double switches when I'm batting.

Well thats the thing. You should be able to switch out anytime and you could do it last year. Thats a huge prob for a strategy guy. Don't get me wrong, I'll work around it, but I'm pretty PO'd that I have to.
