    Well thats the thing. You should be able to switch out anytime and you could do it last year. Thats a huge prob for a strategy guy. Don't get me wrong, I'll work around it, but I'm pretty PO'd that I have to.

      EXACTLY

      Doubly disapointing- it was in last years game.

      yo i can not use my defensive replacement as the pinch hitter - if that makes any sense... that way at least i don't waste anyone.

      i still prefer playing without the DH. More Strategy

            About double switches...last year when you put in a double switch, the pitcher's velocity was reduced for some unknown reason. Is that the case this year, or did it get fixed? Has anyone noticed this?

                  Actually MVP 2004 got the double switch perfected to what he's describing. You can put in a player and then leave him in after he's batted and assign the pitcher to another spot, then switch their positions around. But ESPN is still a much more enjoyable game even though the subbing in messed up.
