Same here... god, all the problems that people complained about... gone. Took so much freaking work, but damn... it was worth it.

I wish I could do the same amount of work to fix MLB... man, that game was &gt;this&lt; close...

Yes, all fixed with proper editing of a datafile.txt. Although, from the sound of it, seems like you're trying to convince someone that there are (WERE, I should say!) problems that couldn't be fixed.

I've never played ESPN but I can tell you that sac bunting is not easy at all. In many ways it is more difficult than hitting, the success rate for a bunt is nowhere near 100%, hell, it's under 50%, so saying it should "almost always succeed" is very unrealistic.

The pitching in ESPN just doesn't seem challenging or fun to me. There are very little variations in pitches (a curve looks just like a changeup, a sinker barely moves, and i still can't tell the difference b/t a 2 seam fastball and a regular fastball).

IMO the pitching needs to be the first thing fixed, it would make this game a TON more enjoyable. They also need to make the control ratings mean something. I can hit my spots as accurately with Vogelsong as I can with Schilling.
