Cool. The only reason I had Foulke warming up and decided to yank Kim was due to wildness. The 8th inning I had a very hard time throwing strikes, but was able to get out of it without any hits. I was afraid he'd be too wild in the 9th and might walk a couple guys or hang one (lowers his confidence and then the snowball effect happens). I just wanted Foulke warm for insurance.

I hate getting caught in those situations where you know your pitcher has nothing left and everything he throws gets roped, but you don't have anyone 100% warm yet.

After only 85 pitches, working a no hitter, and only facing 1 over the minimum, wouldn't a pitcher have a little more stamina left?

      Just curious.

Depends. on the pitcher BK Kim doesn't have much stamina to begin with. A guy like Schilling or Pedro Martinez would've been fine. However, remember that Kim was a closer much of his career so his stamina numbers aren't very good.

I also used a lot of full effort fastballs with him. Everytime I pitch with Kim I only expect to get 6 maybe 7 innings out of him so I throw a lot of full effort fastballs since I have success with that (although it drains stamina quickly).
