Possible Rumor: New Developer next year....

I don't think this is old news, but if it is, sorry. I just got my July issue of OXM, and it said the following in the rumors section:

"After high expectations and a dissapointing result in 2004, one of the major Xbox baseball game franchises will be handed over to a brand new developer for 2005. This new developer is very proven in the sports field; in fact it develops another game for the very same publisher. But giving you any more hints would turn this blind item into a fully sighted one, so we'll keep the rest of what we know on ice for now."

Seems most likely that they are talking about this one, since MVP got great reviews, and I don't think Acclaim has anyone else that makes good sports games that would develop all star baseball. So maybe Kush is taking the series over, since they developed College Hoops. Or maybe VC, but they develop more than one game.

Yes, it has been stated elsewhere that Blue Shift (the developer FatPitcher works for) won't be back next year.

Yeah, so I guess that means VC will be taking over the WSB franchise.

Then that was a kill for them to have First Person Mode this year.

You see, you can't really blame Blue Shift. VC told them what to do, Blue Shift did it. So now VC does this to get these people out of work and make them look better when they do everything great.

Let me tell you, like I've said it many times... if they don't but in FPM next year, then this year's was a TERRIBLE waste.
