Question about franchise and a request

In the franchise mode if you have the cpu Auto fix your rosters they dont release any of your players do they?

And any impressions of the franchise mode would be greatly appreciated.

I can get this game for 28$ tax free and i just want to know if the frachise/gm is still as good as WSB2k3

I checked in the impression thread but there wasnt alot of info about the franchise mode in there.

I don't really like the GM Mode very much, because I think it gives unrealistic goals. Like when I was just testing around with it, the Astros wanted to get rid of Petite. But alot of that depends on what owner type you get. Like Maverik, Dictator, Fan, Investor. Their all different and give different goals. But for the most part it is ok, I guess you just need to have an aquired taste for it.

Franchise is almost exactly like last years game, with a few new added menus and stuff like that. In my opinion ESPN is like WSB2k3 with better upgrades.
