Does error bug exist on XBox?

I've been considering getting the Xbox version of ESPNMLB, but I was wondering if the error bug existed on the system? Where if you beat out an infield single after someone dove for it, does it still count it as an error like in the PS2 version? Or can this possibly be fixed by Xbox live somehow?

I don't know if it can be fixed by Xbox Live, but I do know that it is in the game.

Basically, it's any ball that's stopped by an infielder, and is beat out by the runner is credited with an error. I get pretty pissed, because I save many balls from going into the outfield with Jose Valentin, and he doesn't have the time to throw out the baserunner, and now he has a fielding percentage almost AT .900.

I have the xbox version, and although I like the game, it's pretty buggy. And from the reviews of the ps2 version, it is said that the ps2 game is less buggy b/c it came out almost a month after the xbox version. So if you do have the ps2 version, I'd just stick with it, as I was very close to trading in my xbox version for a ps2 version.
