    ESPN Fact Sheet Released

Not enhanced, not adjusted, not tweaked and not updated, ESPN Major League Baseball 2K5 is all-new to set the standard for baseball video games. Dominate the diamond with innovative pitching and batting controls, all-new Maximum Fielding and On Command baserunning features that include active picture-in-picture display, quick select controls and a plethora of slide options. Indulge in the true Major League atmosphere as a brand-new graphics engine brings stadiums, player models, animations, weather effects and cut-scenes to life in breathtaking detail. With an exclusive ESPN presentation system featuring expert commentary from Jon Miller, Joe Morgan and Karl Ravech in-studio, ESPN Major League Baseball 2K5 is your ticket to the big leagues.

    * Maximum Sliding allows you to control how you hit the dirt by letting you choosing multiple slide types with the flip of your right analog stick
    * Intuitive right analog stick controls make big defensive plays a reality with all-new diving catches, wall climbs, robbed homers and bang-bang double plays
    * KZone Pitching flawlessly captures the true essence of baseball with unmatched control of pitch accuracy and velocity, while a new batting interface allows for the control of swing location and swing type
    * Scout and track minor league talent, take on GM mode and even compete multiplayer as the Franchise mode gives you all the options you need to create a big league powerhouse
    * New broadcast camera angles, chase cam, GameCast Live and commentary featuring Jon Miller and Hall of Fame legend Joe Morgan dissecting the action, as well as Karl Ravech delivering the in-studio analysis, all in the style of "The Worldwide Leader in Sports"
    * Chose from multiple skybox layouts, each with their own Hall of Fame wing, and deck them out with your favorite in-game action shots as you earn tokens to unlock classic teams, mini games, stadiums and more
    * Online leagues, tournaments and updates on other games in progress, as well as an advanced messaging system and buddy list that lets you keep in touch with your opponents any time you wish
    * Select the songs that play as the batters stride to the plate using your Xbox to download music and add some true stadium atmosphere

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

Those first 2 features look like they're ripped straight from MVP. Nice to see a Skybox mode ala NHL series.

I haven't played a Sega Baseball game since the Genesis days but if this game comes out for $30, there's a good chance I'll buy it. I think the square base running may be confusing. The MVP has it perfect with the PIP diamond.

Nice to see CS for Xbox. Hopefully it actually works unlike ASB last season.

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw it.

This fact sheet is pretty old, but they just added the CS today or yesterday, which is why I started the thread. Stupid me I didn't post a link, though.

It's all good Blzer though I was somewhat confused as to where you got your info.

That's one cheesy feature I've been awaiting for quite some time. Gotta start downloading some random Metallica songs and Spanish songs soon .
