    Buggy potential?

This game looks great from the videos and screenies I have seen and it is at the top of my list. However, what concerns me is Sega's reputation for lack of quality control. Being that there has been so many positive and innovative changes made to this year's title, I am worried that the Sega bugs will surface and damage what looks to be a great title otherwise. I know that no game can be perfect (some bugs will always be present), but I hope that their are no game-killer bugs as there were in NFL (franchise was a mess) and College Hoops (freezing galore). I hope I'm wrong and will keep my fingers crossed.

they are such a small company their games wil be more buggy, that is almost a given. it will probably be the most buggy, but it still might be really good.

I share this apprehension as well. I loved Choops and NHL, but the freezing just killed the games for me. I hope they put their best foot forward especially with this tentative deal in place.

Dont take this as EA bashing, because it isnt. I love MVP (the PC version at least), but what bigger game killers have we ever seen than:
            - Lefty hitters hitting shorter fly balls than righty hitters - if a lefty hitter gets a ball caught at the wall then the game has robbed you and this is very frustrasting.
            - Player progression rendering franchises more or less useless after 3 seasons
            - Crazy handling of CPU pitching staff (to be fair you need to play a lot of MVP including playoffs before this becomes a real issue)

Like I say, not EA bashing, but proof that all games from all manufacturers are vulnerable to bugs.

Sports games tend to be buggier since the companies have to push these things out every year as the season starts. But since Take Two now owns this line and the others, they can probably spend more money to add to the development team to make it far less buggier. It may be too late this year..but next year should improve vastly...one hopes.
If they would leave their code open so that they can push down patches via Xbox Live then that would help tremendously.
