adam dunn with the braves.Ichiro with the angels,garrett anderson with the rangers..ugh...the gameplay is what's most important though.

Steve might've done a fantasy draft or this could've been years later. No one knows right now.

over at espnvideogames this is the hot topic...developers will be answering this on wed.


my guess is that those screens are close to final build....which means turning CPU trades off or dealing with " Derek Jeter has been traded to Braves for Rafeal Furcal"

Sammy, Posada, and Giles playing 162 games? Ouch.

The Silver Slugger for pitchers goes to a guy who hit .056? Ouch.

Jeff Francis, a starter last year, setting a new ML record for games pitched? Hrm.

And all those trades? Honestly, I just don't know about this one.

well you can't rule out that Steve did any type of fantasy draft, because almost all the other players are on there real teams.

there are a lot of sliders which is a good thing.

Players ratings are messed up and i hope we can edit rosters in franchise mode because i'm going to be doing that a lot. For some reason take-two's franchise modes are trade happy which they need to stop. Also the players look really weird, kind of robotic imo.

Good to see you can turn off slam zone, showboat catches, and that there are about 4 different styles of pitching. Can anyone name them all? Thanks in advance

Interesting stuff. I saw some dissapointing statistics on the screens, especially with the trades and some of the players' statistics. Sorry, but I don't see Giambi hitting 51 HR, yet that's what he did. Hopefully the game plays very good, but I'd like to see more reasonable statistics and less trading of star players.

I can see it happening in ESPN (not real life of course!). Only reason is that they rated him a 92 overall. Way too high IMO.

I thought we might see some stranger stats due to some of those ratings Steve posted earlier. Most stats were pretty good, but I still think we're going to have to do some tweaking to individual player attributes to get them right.
