OK, that said, what are the "bad animations" you're talking about in this years game. I have 56k and haven't had the time to download the big files to take a look myself. Just what seems wrong with them this year? Thanks.

The animations have a "pop" to them and seem very herky-jerky, b/c they don't have transitional animations.

You know how your players in ASB would seem to flow as if they were animated very well? Well, that's def. not the case here. Things just look very awkard when you see a player running full speed up the base only to all of a sudden "pop-up" to the upright position and start returning to the dugout.

It's not so much things are animated poorly, but they just don't have a transitions that make the players seem alive, completely reminding you you're playing a game during each play....

U can practice swing between pitches, but its manually.
U could do that on the previous version of this game and i saw a POTD on IGN.com that the person playing it did it.

I think its a generic practice swing though.

Yeah, I know, but 989's is the first game to take it to that next level, and have the CPU do practice swings (it's a slow, exaggerated swing, yes) while you are in between pitches.

Gives the impression that you're really up there pitching to someone!

I knew the modding community for MVP were good but not THAT good. It's amazing what mods can do to a game. Sadly my computer is a POS when it comes to games.

That's just gorgeous tho. What other things are usually modded? I'm curious cuz it seems they can just about mod anything.

I use that same cam Pared with the Strike Zone off, Hot/Cold zones off, and Aiming cursor on fade. I also used the FoxSports bar. Didn't Trues make that Fox Banner? And Chuk's cams were the bomb.....

Stadiums, players, music, etc...

Yeah the modding community is pretty strong with MVP, and I thank god for that. It's like playing a new game all together. Once you get hooked you can't go back!

Too bad that this might be the last MVP 2005 for the PC. We're going to miss all these great mods for the game.

Sportsman they even made a TSN and Rogers SportNet overlay for the game. Check it out. What do you think?
