    Pitching Changes in MLB2k5??

On the new video from IGN for Mets/Yankees, at around the 14:05 mark of the second video, Randy Johnson is out, and Brent Prinz is in, but the game made no mention of a pitching change for the CPU. What is up with that?? If Jon Miller never mentioned Prinz name, I would have missed it completely.

I thought I saw somewhere that a developer or someone said that there will be warm-up bullpens showing us who was in the pen, and the new pitchers would "run out to the mount" when they came in (ala MVP last year). Did I read this wrong? Or, do new pitchers just "Show up" with no announcement? Thanks

I checked the espn videogames website, and under the K-Zone development Q&A with Jon Leung, there was a question about bullpen entry.

    “Franchise835
q: when pitchers come in from the pen will they actually be shown running in, throwing in the bullpen when u tell them to warm up, and can u make a custom soundtrack for them such as mariano riveras enter the sandman thanks, the game looks awesome I can't wait!!!
a: Yes, we have custom soundtracks for pitchers coming in as the jog in from the bullpen!”

Also, we saw on the screenshots OS put up, for a music entry for Hitters and Pitchers out of the bullpen.

So, why did the CPU controlled Yankees just go from Johnson to Prinz with no announcement what so ever??

Can any one confirm that there is no announcements or “heads up” when the opposing team (CPU or Human controlled) have pitchers in the bullpen warming up and when they come in?

    Thanks

    Ben

I think that's probably the situation. They tend to skip almost all cut scene's in those IGN movies to save on time. You've always been given notice of a cpu pitcher change in past years or this series. I highly doubt they've changed that.

I know that IGN most of the time skips the cut scenes, but normally you would have started to see it, then it just cuts out (as the player hits the button to move on).

I hope this is the case though. I just can't see the game not having any type of "heads up" when the CPU changes pitchers. We will see.
