If you think that this is not the best baseball to date you are are high.
I'll make so valid points:

Take a look people Its pure Baseball.

* Best Commentary
*Animation are much improved over last years, swinging is the key here people.
* the pitching is perfect from what I have seen in these videos.
* Sound is the best buy far.
* EA MVP2005 seems to me the same game, I WATCHED MY FIRST VIDEO and I was like WTF same ol' crap.

* best Additions, WEB GEMS etc.

* You guys are crazy to think to let a 19.99 price tag pass you up.

* Online play seamless. Leagues and Franchise 4 Teams controlled by one user and 2 player franshise.


For the 2 videos i have seen now Im totally sold on this baseball game.
Im sure there will be a diffuculty slider so im not worried.

Come on you guys this is goona be the best this year IM SURE OF IT.

But I'll agree with you to an extent, and that's that this game has changed far and wide, and this game isn't receiving the hype that it deserves (notice that I use the word hype). But, of course, the rest is opinionated.

It's just that MVP had far too many people anticipating the release of the game last year if this game has the standard amount. I mean this year 2K Sports has been releasing the mass media. This year, they are going balls out to make innovative changes to their game. While there are still no playable minor leagues (which I believe was the trigger for MVP last year), everything else is looking too good to pass up for the hype machine.


How many people will buy it? I don't know. How many people will like it? I don't know. But, this is certainly a dead baseball forum for anticipating the game as far as I know. I mean, half of the threads on this forum go way off-topic, and start talking about users on here rather than the game itself.

ONLINE PLAY SEAMLESS? This was NOT the case last year. And while I'm still getting this game for XBOX (who could pass up this gameplay for $20?), I'm hoping that your claim of seamless online play is true.

I'd also like the ability to change the camera to a low/wide view for online play and not the default 'pitcher is about 10 feet away' camera angle.

Dude,this is the same ESPN game they've been giving us for the past couple of years. Same game with a few touchups. I see the same batting stances. The same junk fielding motions,all of that. Yet some of you see the presentation and you think it's the bomb. Their presentation is great,but other than that,I see the same old stuff.

I totally agree- its amazing to me how the folks havent found ways to improve the stances so the batters dont 'jerk' into their custom stance, and for the life of me I dont understand how they cant make the second baseman set and throw on a double play instead of throwing across their body to first base while running past the bag towards SS. They can add all the presentation they want, I dont understand how they dont fix these types of problems year after year. That being said, I will still get this game, I bought 2K3 and hated it so I didnt buy last years, but for the $19.99 I will give it a shot. MLB2006 is # 1 on my list, it looks like the best one of the 3. I will not get MVP this year because I got last years and there isnt enough in the new one for me to get it, especially since the graphics and gamplay is basically identical.
