Only game i've ever played that didnt need slider adjustments was CHoops 2k5...expect to have to fix some things

Agreed!

I will definitely give this game a shot this year, considering it's price point. Also, I like the developer (Kush Games). Although they had a rough 1st year with their NHL game, this year it was really turned around (except some bugs) and I expect the same for the MLB game.

Agreed!

It's great that you're trying this game out -- should be a real doozy.

My experience with 2k4 was that the game needed slider adjustment badly in order for the computer to throw more balls, and I also turned down the user power considerably... when Ichiro is hitting the ball 470 feet on a relatively regular basis, it tends to detract from the realism.

That been said, once your sliders are in place and the way you like them, the difficulty setting won't matter as much. It seemed last year that the sliders overrule that setting. I'm hoping that sliders aren't as necessary this year, as I honestly hate screwing with them and would rather just choose a straight difficulty level (though it's definitely nice that they're there). I'm sure the day after Pared gets the game he'll have pretty comprehensive sliders up.
