Non Union Players Other than Bonds

How does this game handle the nonunion players other than bonds? I had MVP last year and they included John Dowd for Bonds, but there were not other fake replacements for other nonunion players. On the Giants, that meant that last years closer Matt Herges was not in the game.

How does the 2K series handle this? Do they include a fake alternative for all the nonunion players or just Bonds? I am thinking that they do have them, because on one of the franchise screens, there was a made up RH reliever on the Giants major league squad, so I'm assuming thats Herges.

Also, do these fake players have supposedly the same attributes as there real life counter parts (same pitches, same ratings) so that you only have to edit the personal info and the look of the player?

Cool. MVP didn't do that last year, I don't know about this year. Does anyone know if last year in ESPN if these fake players had the same attributes as the real life counterparts so you only had to edit name and personal data?
