I'm going to assume they do because of an article that I read on IGN:
And guess what? I have a plan for such things as home runs and stuff. If the crowd isn't loud enough at these times? Well, I'll download some audio file that has a long-lasting cheering crowd for the game, so that they'll cheer for a while.
I may even do this for certain batters walking up to the plate, etc.
That would make sense to put in, wouldn't it?

Far more interesting than a profile is the ability for Xbox users to create their own custom stadium and play soundtracks. Using the same system as seen in NFL 2K5, you can cut up your own tracks and then set the music to play at specific instances. Want a certain song for the end of the first inning? How about for the 7th inning stretch? Or perhaps you want a sad song for a home loss? You can have map it all out to be as detailed as you like. For players you have the option to cut custom intro music. This can be done for every single player in MLB 2K5. Pretty damn sweet.
