Not an EA *****, but ....

Why does it seem like they just take their existing games, fix the blatant bugs they missed the year prior - patch them up - throw a new cover on it and call it a new game and charge you $30-$50 for it??

I have heard people complaining about this for years now - and I guess between NCAA FB, Madden, Tiger W, the hoops games and now MVP I've finally witnessed it all myself too......

I just bought MVP 2005, played a few games and just felt like I played MVP 2004 with new rosters. I mean literally I felt no difference.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm sure every other game developer does the same thing to an extent - but EA is so blatant with it .. "Hit Stick", "Hitter's Eye", "Tiger Vision", etc ... they are all such lame additions to a game that is just patched up and thrown in a new box but is the same game we've all paid $50 for and played for 3 years in a row.

Long story short, I'm scared as heck about what EA is going to do now with no competition in some sports - we as consumers are gonna get screwed BIG TIME - guaranteed ...

I agree with you. It seems as if Take 2 listens to the consumers and tries to improve their games in all areas. Where as EAsports... you know what they do....
