MVP is ****ing up badly and I'm thinking of trading it in for this game.Just want to know if anyone has experienced any DDE's?

Sounds like your xbox is toast. DDE's are a sign of a bad dvd drive. Either replace the drive or the whole unit. Believe me, its not the game.Originally posted by Vinceanity2k3 -

Yeah, you're gonna get it with 2k5 too. I've attempted to play 5 games and have only been able to finish one. Twice it froze before the game even started, it froze once in the 6th and once in the 8th. Very frustrating. Yeah, you're gonna get it with 2k5 too. I've attempted to play 5 games and have only been able to finish one. Twice it froze before the game even started, it froze once in the 6th and once in the 8th. Very frustrating. The DVD drive in your Xbox is going bad and it needs replaced or the whole unit needs replaced. Games that seem to need a lot of info streamed off the game disc will more that likely cause the Dirty Disc Error message. Sports games do this alot.Originally posted by Vinceanity2k3

Yes, I've been getting many DDE's with this game. Sometimes when it loads up different screens, and also in every game. Sometimes the in-game DDE's pass if you give it long enough (1-2 minutes), and it just jumps back into the game, mid-commentary and everything. Weird. The only other games that I've gotten DDE's on was Madden from 2 years ago (but never on this year's) and Morrowind when I first got my xbox, so I wouldn't say that it's because my drive is going bad.
Edit: Oh I forgot, on ESPN College Hoops this year I was getting freezes until I turned off the custom soundtracks. I didn't use custom soundtracks on this game for that reason.Comment
