17 pitch at bat with D'Angelo Jimenez!

I just had a 17 pitch at bat with Jimenez! How awesome was that?

Well, you had to be there...

BTW, I ended up flying out.

    Haha! Loser!

heh I kid. The longest one I had was like 10 pitches with Casey or something crazy like that, I kept fouling out into the stands but I did end up with a nice single.

I'm getting a lot of great at bats with your sliders. I had one at bat where I started off 0-2 with Craig Counsell, fouled a bunch off, and ended up walking after 9-10 pitches. These are the most fun at bats I've had since HH2004.

First off, that's awesome that you got that 17 pitch at bat. When I can get the pitch count up to 7 or 8 in an at bat in MVP I'm sweating, ya know? Upon reading every one of the posts on this forum, I feel like I could die for an XBox. The game sounds so great, I just wish they would get it out for us PS2 owners too! I guess MVP and GT4 will have to hold me off until then.

Secondly, it's nice to see the reference to the High Heat series, possibly the greatest baseball series ever created. God, it would be nice to see those games back sometime. Best gameplay in any sports game I've ever played. Enjoy MLB 2K5 guys. I'm still waiting for my copy....

Unfortunately, there's no foul ball slider on this game, which I really wish they had... not enough balls fouled back behind the plate, etc.

exactly because if it did have this slider, our pitch count problems would all be solved easily. I don't think there's enough foul balls in this game at all.

I had a looooooooooooot of 10+ pitches AB on last year's game. My record was something like 13 pitches AB. 17 is crazy.

I remember that on 2K4 after i think 9 pitches they won't show u where the pitches went. Did they show all the 17 pitches on the K Zone graphic?

Using cursor hitting last year, i could keep fouling off the ball. The only problem was that the CPU rarely fouled the ball off.
