dirty disc error
Anyone else getting alot of these? When I first played it I got a couple random lockups, now I can't even get through a full game. My XBox is less than a year old and has a NON-thompson CD drive. (My old one had to be replaced because of a bad drive). No other games lockup. I did a bunch of roster edits and transactions, so I really don't want to have to delete all the save files (sometimes that worked to fix problems with older EA games).Tags: None -

Re: dirty disc error
It's possible you have a bad disk, but usually these are hardware problems - namely that your DVD Drive is going bad. I had to get a new XBOX to play Halo 2 and ESPN College Hoops, and I'm not having any problems with any games now on the new XBOX.
Links was also unplayable for me a year ago, and I now realize that was the first game that my DVD drive just couldn't handle. I thought it was just a poorly made game...Comment
