Anyone else wish they could turn slamzone off in online?

Let me first say that I love online. Everyone so far that I have played has been a good player and I have had several 2-1 1-0 games. My main gripe is that the game seems to come down to who can get the most/first slamzone. Nothing brings out my since of dread more than having that ******** screen come up and having 5 seconds to contemplate the fact that my ball is about to get crushed out of the ballpark. Right now the only way to play a ranked game is to have slamzone on and I really wish they would fix this

At first I was leaning toward LIKING Slam Zone ON. But I realized you get the SAME effect, except without all the button mashing, with it OFF. The pitch location is still given away if you guess correctly, OR if the pitcher throws a meat pitch, the player just has to time it right and hit the ball where it is pitched. Its the SAME effect except you dont have the button mashing! To me, the Slam Zone IS a good thing, but OFF is the way it needs to be played online.

I suggest alot of seasons and tourneys....you can have Baseburner mode ON while having Slam Zone OFF.

Ummmm DEFINATELY OFF! There should be ranked Arcade Style games, with Slam Zone ON, and ranked Sim games, with NO Slam Zone.

How can they force Slam Zone on you like that?

i've lost 3 games 2-1 because i've given up 2 slam zone homeruns....i guess thats what i get for making 2 bad pitches........
