ON 2nd Thought

I don't think its fair to compare this game to MVP2005, I think the comparison should be made too MVP2003. Why do i make this statement. This game is following the footsteps of MVP. Coming from a condem series(tripleplay) and remade to what it is today. Both, have a good core engine, and went in different dirrection. This is Kush's first year making this game, and from the looks of it 2k is going to allow them to be the makers of the baseball game.

So out of the gate, its not bad, but not on the level of the polish of MVP. So next year I think this game will take a big leap forward.

Things that show promise.

Base burner: Awesome feature

PIP: I love this feature as well, it takes some getting use too, but once you learn it, you say wow.

Pressure and Confidence: I like the way these features are implemented.

Pitcher Hot/Cold Zone: I like that its dynamic along with the hitter.

SlamZone: is luke warm too me, but I like it in a 2 player drunk match(lol)

In closing, I would like to state that A/AA/AAA will be in this game in the near future in full playable form. I know we hear it from all developers time constraints changed the direction of this game. I can envision a myriad of features, coupled with overall tweaking of the game, will put it over the top.

this was a concern of mine when i heard kush had this series. their first attempt at college b-ball had promise and by year three they had the best bball game of all.

so i was afraid that this game would have problems. i still dont have the game, i need ps2, but i am going to give it a shot in hopes some problems wont be on the ps2 version.

Many people are doing this. I did as well, and I'm not at all sorry. MVP 2005 is the best overall baseball game created (IMO.) For me it combines the realism of the High Heat series, with fantastic graphics/animations. It's pretty darn near perfect.

They have to get better Quality Control in though.
