    Anyone else having this problem???

I keep hitting shots down the line, and the camera goes into the view from home plate (where most of the time the stadium lights blind you), looking straight down the line. Of course 90% of the time that this camera view comes up, it's a Foul ball, but about 5 times now I've had a ball that was CLEARLY going to be a Home Run decide to make a 90* turn and go foul. Everytime it's happened, I've paused the game and shown my opponent and we both are like "Uhhh?" It's cost me 3 games now!!!

And just so people know, this isn't the ball just "tailing" or the "wind" as 4 out of the 5 games there was NO wind and NO ball "tails" like this. It's almost like there is an invisible flag pole about 5-10Ft. from the foul line, and 5-10Ft. from the wall and the ball hits it, and shoots Foul.

It's really too bad you can't save replays so I could show people.

P.S. The first time it happened I thought it was just a freak occurrence, but it's happened so many times now and cost me 3 games online that it's become a nuisance. Next time you hit one down the line that LOOKS close to being a Home Run, pause it and take a look for yourselves. Don't just take the Foul ball call for granted. I also had a slow dribbler roll down the line tonight and the 3rd Baseman picked it up about 6in. to the left side of the bag and IT was called FAIR!?

I've had that problem too (the first park) but I keep forgetting if I played with the wind real strong or not. I've had the 2nd problem too but only once I think.

I can GUARANTEE you it IS NOT wind that affected the path of the balls flight. If wind is what caused this too happen, then the Almighty himself came down from the heavens and made a point to blow through a straw, as hard as he could right next to my baseball. The change of direction happens to abruptly to be wind. A flying saucer could NOT turn on a dime like this.

Glad to hear somebody else thinks they had this problem though too. I'm surprised more people haven't commented on this, or maybe they did like I did at first and just thought it was a freak occurrence. Wait until it costs people a few runs or GAMES...

Just remember this... the ball already has a predetermined landing area, so don't think that it is just dynamically moving at an undetermined path. So, basically, it didn't really hurt you, because if the balls went straight, they'd be going straight foul, not fair for a home run.

            Does that make sense?

That bad? Then I don't think I'm having that problem because the only time a hit, that would of been gone if straight, has gone foul it's curved foul naturally...not abrupt like you said.

"if the balls went straight," but they DON'T. The ball should CONSISTENTLY follow a predetermined flight path, to its "predetermined landing area," and not stray. Can you imagine if you were playing a hockey game and you shot the puck, and right before it appeared it would break the plane of the goal, it shot off into the boards, because that's where its "predetermined landing area" was?!?!?

It seems to me that, since "the ball already has a predetermined landing area" it's being FORCED to that landing area, even if the animation of the ball shows that it would land elsewhere. This means the animation of the flight of the ball is just WAAAAAAAAY OFF then. It's almost like the "predetermined landing area" is like a magnet to the ball and once the ball gets close to it, it goes there, even if the balls flight would REALISTICALLY have it landing elsewhere. It looks SO unnatural, chopppy and just horrid.

Either way, it sounds like BAD programming. Even my opponents were like "Dude, that's shady" and "Glad that didn't happen to me."
