CPU can't hit
I just threw a complete game shutout 4 hitter with Doug Davis of the Brewers who's rated 63. And I never allow more than 2 runs a game and this is all on all star with the AI Skill slider at 95. So does anyone know how to make the CPU get more hits? I've tried everything but nothing works. And don't say use someone's sliders that have been posted here because the only slider that makes the CPU get hits is the AI Skill slider which I have at 95. If I put AI Contact slider at 100 then they swing at the first pitch everytime for an easy groundout. I tried effort pitching but it was still easy, you just point the ball to the corner of the strike zone for an easy out. So does anyone know how to make the CPU get more hits?Tags: None -
Re: CPU can't hit
i'm using classic pitching with variable slider at 100 (which does indeed make your pitcher have poorer control not better like it says at the bottom of the difficulty page), cpu contact at 50, cpu power at 62, slamzone probability at 60 and slamzone power at at 50 (read somewhere it still makes a diff even if you have it off, as i do) ai skill at 100, they seem to get plenty of hits and extra base hits off me, then again at a high variable setting i throw some pitches that catch a bit to much of the plate at times, also try setting your fielder speeds at around 25-35 that way you can't run everything down in the outfield.Last edited by sask3m; 03-02-2005, 12:00 AM. -

exactly same here I had to turn down my fielders speed to allow them more hits... works wonders now...Comment
