I increased batting power and balls are hit harder and get through the infield quicker.. I also decreased batting contact to tone down the homers at the higher power level... this also makes for one button hitting.. as I can hit homers with the contact swing button..

Forgot exactly what hte option was, but if you turn off "Fielder Speed Burst", you'll see a noticable change in vaccum gloves from the pitcher and the infielders.

editing all the pitchers range, anticipation, and glove helps out alot on this problem

Just turning off fielder speed burst solved the problem for me.
