Is there any way I can get a few walks?

Ok, I'll just settle for a few balls? Every pitch seems to be a strike in this game. How high do I need to raise A.I. slider?

There are 3 sliders you can change:

AI throw Strike Overall-
AI Throw Strike Ahead-
AI Throw Strike Behind-

I would set all 3 of these between 30-40

put all sliders to 50. It seems to be working for the ppl experimenting on it. I haven't personally tried it but i'm starting to get frustrated by the vacuum gloves in the Infield so I may give it ago after the first month (in game not rl)

Hell vaccum glove on the infield...Darn man I had a fly ball for sure he wasn't going to catch it..the ball landed more then 1 foot away real time and the ball sucked into the fielders glove...Terrible...

I play on all-star as KC Royals and I draw about 2 to 3 walks per game. I have not changed a slider.

The sliders work. Take a look at each slider and make some adjustments.
I don't walk much because I'm a free swinger (sure that's true for most), but I've been paying attention to the ball indicator after the CPUs pitch and I can tell you the CPU throws MANY balls. I have had at bats where the first three pitches have been balls and I'm down 1-2. There are walks in this game.

Also, when pitching to the CPU try the CPU batting view on HIGH. It's harder to judge the strike zone. When pitching, don't dwell on the location of your pitch (trying to pinpoint, this for CLASSIC batting). Just point and throw. You WILL walk CPU batters. In other words, you want a ball down and away, don't try to slowly feel the location, just nudge the stick low and away and throw.

I actually changed my sliders to 50/50/40. I agree, the sliders do work when you adjust them.
