    Hitting Help . . .

I have read the manual, and looked at the in game manual as well, but I am still confused over a few things regarding hitting:

    1) Before the pitcher releases the pitch, can I guess which pitch is comming? How exactly do I do that? If I do it correctly, does it take me into "slam zone?"

    2) When I swing at the pitch, am I supposed to try to chase the ball with the left thumbstick?

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I am confused. Maybe I am making this more complicated than it reall is. Thanks.
    My Teams:

    Ohio State Buckeyes
    Kansas City Chiefs
    Los Angeles Lakers
    Cincinnati Reds

    1) Yes, before the pitch you guess where the pitch is going to end up. Then when the pitcher is about to release the pitch a little crosshair circle comes up, and there is a ball shown in the strike zone (if the guess is correct) - you move the crosshair circle over it and it'll take you into slamezone.

    2) When the pitcher is going to release the ball..try to read it and watch where it is going, move the left thumbstick in the part the ball looks like it's going (unless it is a ball of course), and if it's in the strike zone and you feel comfortable about hitting it, take your swing.

Hitting took me a long time to get used to in this game, I got it last Sunday, and have been playing it a whole lot, and now im hitting left and right.

One thing gets me is...some people are dumb, especially when they say "sports games are all the same", when really, they're different...

If your using tru-aim. You must active batter's eye & the other batter's eye setting. You also should set the Vibration-ON you controller will vibrate any time you move the red dot out side the strike zone. When activated you push move the right analog stick a little bit & a red circle will appear in the box. Move it to the spot you think the pitcher will throw the ball. Before he goes into his wind-up push the X(button) xbox I'm not sure what button it is on PS2. This locks the target in the spot you put @. If you guess correctly & slamzone is on the game should go into slamzone mode. Hope this helps.
